The Assertive Community Outreach Team (ACOS) plays a vital role within this service, providing dynamic, multidisciplinary outreach for individuals living with severe and enduring mental illness who often face significant barriers to engagement. Working extended hours to ensure continuity and flexibility, ACOS supports people experiencing frequent relapses, functional impairment, and risks such as homelessness or suicidality. This position offers the chance to work within a highly collaborative team, delivering clinical leadership, supervision, and meaningful engagement with families, carers, and partner agencies—all while meeting people where they are, both clinically and literally, through outreach across the ACT.
