The Division of Surgery supports patients from admission to recovery, working alongside trauma, ICU and peri‑operative services to deliver outstanding outcomes. The Medical Emergency Team (MET) is central to patient safety, responding early to clinical deterioration and working closely with ICU, ED and NICU teams. Our Rapid Response service is driving the future of care through early intervention and the evolution of nurse‑led practice, including Advanced Practice Nurse and Nurse Practitioner roles.
