JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a qualified Male Nurse to provide first aid, emergency care, and occupational health support at our construction site. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of workers by responding to medical incidents, managing minor injuries, promoting wellness, and supporting compliance with health regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing certification.
  • HAAD License Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; prior experience in occupational health or industrial/construction settings preferred.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of OSHA (or local safety standards) is an asset.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of a construction environment.
  • Good communication, observation, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care for injuries and illnesses on site.
  • Assess and treat minor injuries (e.g., cuts, abrasions, sprains) and refer serious cases to appropriate medical facilities.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and incident reports.
  • Monitor and promote occupational health and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct routine health checks, such as blood pressure, temperature, and wellness assessments.
  • Support health and safety training, including toolbox talks and awareness sessions.
  • Keep the medical supplies well-stocked and compliant with local regulations.
  • Assist in evaluating health risks and recommend preventive measures.
  • Respond to emergencies, including accidents, heat stroke, dehydration, and other worksite health concerns.
  • Coordinate with emergency services when required.
  • Report regularly to the site manager or HSE officer regarding site health trends and incidents.
