You will enjoy being part of a great team in a fun, engaging work environment! Qualifications Who you are: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing education. Must have current active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oregon. Current BLS CPR certification preferred. Experience in the care of the geriatric resident as evidenced by previous work experience is preferred. Experience with the RAI process preferred but not necessary Must meet Oregon State regulation for Resident Care Managers that mandates successful completion of 3 credit hours or 30 continuing education hours (CEU’s) pertinent to gerontology rehabilitation or long-term care; 3 credit hours or 14 CEU’s pertinent to supervision within 9 months of hire. Essential Job Duties: Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her unit. Provides support/education to staff, residents, and families. Meets with all new admissions to assure core needs are being met. Gathers information since last business day related to resident updates, events, and new orders for Morning Meeting. Prepares for and attends meetings as designated by supervisor. Assures accuracy and completeness of medical record.
