Hearing our veterans explain the things they have experienced makes you realise quite how extraordinary they are. It is important for us to remember their stories and to remember that after their service has finished, Broughton House is where they call home. Whilst ex-Servicemen and women vary in their ages from those who served in WW2 to those who have served more recently in Iraq and Afghanistan, the long-term major recruiting area of the North West means that their needs are here now, and will be for many years to come. And because of their varying years and degrees of suffering, their needs will vary too.
The recently completed Broughton House Veteran Care Village will provide complete holistic services required by veterans and their families on one dedicated site in Greater Manchester. Our unique approach is an inspiring vision to enable and empower the armed forces community to live with dignity and independence in ‘life after service’ - come and be part of our future.
Broughton House Veteran Care Village is a unique home that places residents first - always. Working as part of a wider and well networked multidisciplinary team we provide specialist care for veterans living with dementia or those with general nursing and residential needs, you will use your caring and compassionate nature to deliver excellent care and support to our residents, supported by a dynamic and hands on leadership team.
You will have kindness in buckets, great communication skills and an approach to people that assures their safety and dignity at all times and respects everyone as an individual.
So, do you want to deliver high quality and person centred care in a friendly not for profit environment, in a state-of-the-art facility with an amazing group of residents? If so, then we’d love to hear from you.
In return we will offer you the opportunity to continually grow and learn with a range of training opportunities. We also offer a competitive salary, with paid breaks and paid NMC renewal, pension scheme, and heavily subsidised meals.
