The Southlake Academic Family Health Team (SAFHT) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Manager to join our family health team. As a Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
· Minimum five years of clinical experience; experience in primary care is preferred
· Strong knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proven experience as a Nurse Manager in a collaborative team environment
· Problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
· Experience in fiscal management, program development, and evaluation

Responsibilities

· Manage and supervise a team of 13+ nurses across four site locations, including hiring, training, scheduling
· Enforce office policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices
· Manage nursing operating budget effectively
· Plan and evaluate program strategies aligned with organizational goals
· Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Ensure staffing levels meet program needs through recruitment and training
· Facilitate nursing team meetings and oversee organization-wide vaccine initiatives
· Monitor nursing service objectives and develop action plans based on performance metrics
· Address team development needs and facilitate professional growth opportunities
· Participate in program development and committee activities as required
· Conduct research to uphold best practices and infection control standards
