Responsibilities: Registered Nurse - 33 hrs per week
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient’s vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Excellent patient care skills, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing emotional support
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to make sound clinical judgments
