McDowall Family Medical Centre is seeking an experienced registered nurse to be a part of our friendly team of doctors, receptionists and nursing staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• vaccinations - adult and babies ,handling emergencies and triage, assisting in procedures
• ECG, Spirometry, AUDIOMETER and ABI, ear syringing, wound management, sterilisation of instruments
• health management including health assessments , inventory and stock management.

Applicants :

• previous practice nurse experience in a GP practice - preferred but not essential
• a good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office. Experience with Best Practice and previous accreditation experience will be an advantage
• excellent organisational and time management skills
• high level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals
• passion for your role to take pride in seeing the service grow and be successful.

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $38.00 – $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
