Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse who has a passion for providing holistic care and support, to join our Community Team!
This role will see you working closely with our clients (both in home and remotely), undertaking assessment and care planning inline with their identified needs. Your expert clinical knowledge will see you providing oversight on the care needs of our clients, liaising with staff, health and service providers as necessary. This role will also see you provide specialist guidance to our team, showcase your leadership skills and ultimately, enhance the lives of the people we support. We are an important part of home life for our clients (and their families), so your ability to build strong, professional relationships will see you shine!
This position is offering casual hours, in a Community Based role that allows you to make a real difference within people’s lives.

Reporting to theClinical Care Coordinator, you will possess the following:

  • Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to seek out and utilise new knowledge as it relates to nursing practices
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical assessment and care planning
  • An understanding of the ageing process with comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly to age related health issues
  • Demonstrated experience in guiding and supporting healthcare workers and enrolled nurses
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads according to clients needs
  • High level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team
  • Excellent Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office
  • Current unrestricted NSW license and own insured/registered vehicle
