Description Position Specifications Weekends Only 7A option available 7P option available 36 hours worked; paid for 40 hours per week 1 year contract with 1 call in per quarter Completion incentive of $5K Benefits eligible Accrual PTO Position Summary Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/Unit Manager/Clinical Supervisor and co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Requirements Required Education and Experience? Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current state Registered Nurse Licensure within state of practice. Current BCLS certification must be available upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Current ACLS certification must be available upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Current PALS certification must be available upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Successful completion of arrhythmia course must be available upon hire or certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
Responsibilities
Provides direct and indirect patient care within a medical-surgical setting. Communicates clinical changes and diagnostic results to physicians and supervisors to ensure timely treatment responses.
