What We're Looking For

To be considered, you'll have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Recent Primary Health Care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Immunisation Provider Certificate
• Experience within Correctional Health
• Strong communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Desirable Experience

You'll stand out if you have:

• Experience in rural, remote or Aboriginal health settings
• Advanced health assessment skills
• The ability to work confidently and autonomously
• Experience managing complex and chronic health conditions
• Strong multidisciplinary team collaboration skills

New to Correctional Health?

Not every great correctional health nurse starts in correctional health.
