Your future role at a glance Location: Indianapolis, IN Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Department/Specialty: Medical Progressive Care Unit Schedule: Day shift | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Manage the recovery of our most vulnerable patients by implementing complex care plans and maintaining constant vigilance over physiological changes to ensure immediate, life-saving interventions. Lead the multidisciplinary care team as the primary patient advocate, coordinating between intensivists, specialists, and therapists to ensure a cohesive and rapid response to treatment. Execute critical physician orders and advanced nursing protocols with precision, ensuring that high-acuity treatments are delivered safely in a fast-paced environment. Support families during their most difficult moments by providing clear communication and emotional guidance, helping them navigate the complexities of critical care and the path toward recovery. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
