About the Role Join the dynamic and progressive team in the Medical-Surgical Oncology Inpatient department at Mater Hospital, North Sydney Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients, working with specialists including Breast and GI surgeons and medical oncologists. Play a pivotal role in the delivery of cancer services, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to support oncology patients. Collaborate closely with the Melanoma Institute Australia to ensure best practice care and patient outcomes. Deliver care in line with the Philosophy, Mission, and Values of St Vincent’s Health Australia and Mater Hospital policies and procedures. Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the department, ensuring all patient care aligns with SVHA's commitment to excellence and safety. About You Current AHPRA registration. Recent clinical experience as a registered nurse in a Medical-Surgical Oncology ward, or a strong desire to work in this area Strong computer literacy skills with demonstrated experience using health information systems Sound knowledge of Department of Health Guidelines and Regulations, Workplace Health and Safety, and Infection Control, and their impact on patient care. One of Sydney’s premier private hospitals. Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway. Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
