Minimum Qualifications: * Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or region. * Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). * Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. * Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. * Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care standards, and telemetry monitoring. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. * Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) or Telemetry Nursing. * Experience in a leadership or clinical supervisory role within a hospital setting. * Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software. * Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Critical Care Nursing. Responsibilities: * Provide direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. * Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs, promptly identifying and responding to any abnormalities or emergencies. * Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and update treatment plans as necessary. * Lead and support nursing staff by providing guidance, education, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of clinical practice. * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices. * Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care to promote recovery and prevent complications.
