Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
Are you are a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses who would like to become part of our dynamic team within the Medical Ward Florence Risbey. We currently have temporary full-time or part-time positions available, working across a seven-day rotating roster.
As a Registered Nurse you will be committed to delivering optimal outcomes for every patient, client and carer, championing best practices and ensuring care is escalated appropriately when needed. Collaboration is at our core, as we work side-by-side with multidisciplinary professionals to plan, assess and evolve patient care through dynamic communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Current registration as Registered Nurse Level 1 with APHRA
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Acute Care Nursing as a registered nurse (including Completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements
