Registered Nurses - Permanent Part Time, variety of AM and PM shifts available
Are you an Experienced Mental Health RN with excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply. The Registered Nurse will plan, assess, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals/patients/their families and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes, delivering high quality patient care to both general psychiatry and eating disorders.
The Geelong Clinic is a private psychiatric hospital that offers a range of inpatient, day programs and outreach services for individuals experiencing mental health problems, located on the outskirts of Geelong within close proximity to spectacular coastal attractions. The Geelong Clinic has a number of accredited Psychiatrists supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team of nursing, allied health, administration and domestic services staff. The hospital is a 73 bed facility and has recently undergone some exciting renovations and expansions. We also offer free car parking onsite and a variety of staff benefits.

Responsibilities

AS A REGISTERED NURSE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Deliver evidence based nursing care
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure patient and staff safety
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
