Your Opportunity Mission Australia’s Residential Aged Care Facility in Orange is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our committed team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality personal care and clinical services to our residents, ensuring their individual needs are met. You will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of care, maintaining clinical standards, and fostering a supportive and respectful environment for residents and staff. Roster: Mon to Thursday night shifts Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide guidance and clinical support to care staff in implementation of infection control procedures and monitor and report to the Director of care on the progress Work along with the Director of Care in identifying any risks and provide suggestions regarding delivery and services Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with the regulatory standards Coordinate and support resident’s case conferences and specialist appointment Assist in managing hospital transfers and post hospital care Oversee safe and efficient medication administration in partnership with pharmacy providers Contribute to resident admissions planning and waiting list management Assist visiting doctors who attend the facility to conduct care recipient consultations. Requirements for Success Currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) Computer literate with strong communication and documentation skills At least 12 months’ experience working in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse Experienced dealing with challenging behaviours Mental Health background (desirable) Flu and Covid Booster vaccination mandatory NDIS Workers Screen clearance (or the willingness to obtain one) Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, work right checks and NDIS.
