Your Opportunity Mission Australia Homelessness and Multicultural Access Services will be supporting and caring for individuals experiencing homelessness and those from Culturally and Linguistically background. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who will be responsible for providing high quality health support services and evidence-based health assessments. The role is required to conduct various health screen assessments, health education and referral to GPs and other Health Specialist services as required. This is a fixed term contract ending on 30th June 2026. Your key responsibilities: Deliver high-quality clinical case coordination, assessments, and treatment interventions within a strong clinical governance framework. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, person-centred care for clients. Improve access to primary health services for CALD communities by addressing local service gaps across Northern Sydney. Identify health needs and develop targeted intervention plans that make a real difference in client outcomes. Provide consultations, health education, and timely referrals to primary and allied health services both onsite and in the community Build strong partnerships with community providers, allied health professionals, and GPs to deliver coordinated, continuous care. Lead and participate in community events and initiatives that promote health awareness and strengthen connections within CALD communities. Requirements for Success Currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) At least 12 months of clinical experience working preferably in a mental health setting Demonstrated ability to provide specialized or complex therapeutic interventions Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including highly developed administrative skills Demonstrated ability to provide support to clients from CALD backgrounds Experienced dealing with challenging behaviours First-aid certification required or willingness to get Drivers’ Licence Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks and WWCC.
