Roles & Responsibilities

Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit western trained Registered Nurses Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for their client in Dubai, UAE which is a reputed JCI accredited multispecialty hospital with a highly specialized neonatal service providing advanced care for premature and critically ill newborns.

The Registered Nurse NICU will provide specialized nursing care for premature infants, critically ill neonates, and high-risk newborns requiring intensive medical support. Monitor neonatal physiological parameters, manage incubators and specialized neonatal equipment, administer medications and nutritional therapies, support respiratory care including CPAP and mechanical ventilation, and assist Neonatologists during neonatal procedures and emergency interventions. Deliver developmentally appropriate nursing care while promoting family-centred practice through education, counselling, and parental involvement in the care of newborns. Collaborate with Neonatologists, Pediatric Specialists, Lactation Consultants, Respiratory Therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible neonatal outcomes while ensuring compliance with infection prevention measures, JCI standards, and evidence-based neonatal nursing practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • We are seeking Registered Nurses holding a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (minimum three-year full-time program) from a nationally or internationally recognized nursing college or university, or a Degree in Nursing (minimum two-year program) together with registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand as specified under the DHA Professional Qualification Requirements.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience within a hospital environment.
  • Current BLS certification is mandatory and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification would be an advantage.
