Patient Care and Service: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health histories, vital signs, and medication reviews. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the provider. Perform procedures such as bio-identical hormone pellet insertions and IV therapy as directed by the provider. Monitor patients' progress and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to adjust care plans as needed. Respond promptly and accurately to patient inquiries via the patient portal or phone. 2. Patient Education: Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle modifications. Address patient questions and concerns to ensure clarity and confidence in their care. Empower patients to actively participate in their health management and engage in integrative therapies. 3. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and Medical Assistants. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system, Zenoti. Communicate effectively with patients, addressing needs and concerns promptly. 4. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and education in integrative and functional medicine practices. Share expertise with the team through training sessions and workshops. Maintain professional licenses and certifications required for employment. 5. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards of care. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, sterile clinical environment. Uphold HIPAA and other privacy regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Qualifications: Current and valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Indiana. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience; experience in functional or integrative medicine is a plus. Proficiency in performing IV therapy and minor procedures (e.g., hormone pellet insertion). Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Commitment to patient-centered healthcare. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
