Ward 8 is a 16 bed acute medical ward that receives patients from emergency that still require some working up. You will be using your critical thinking and have the opportunity to improve on your skill set. There are funded stroke beds where patients will be placed on the stroke pathway and supported by our stroke co-ordinator.
