We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nuclear Medicine Department. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to advancing patient health and well-being. Key Responsibilities Perform stress test in a modern new stress lab Assist in preparing and administering nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols. Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac stress testing to ensure comfort and safety. Educate patients about procedures, including potential risks and post-procedure care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including radiation safety and infection control protocols. Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care. Assist with inventory management and proper handling of radioactive materials Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. Prior experience with stress testing, EKG interpretation, and establishing IV access in nuclear medicine, radiology, or a related specialty is preferred. Strong patient care and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Current ACLS is preferred.
