Description:
Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make an impact in the lives of cancer patients?
Gold Coast Private Hospital would love you to join our dedicated team in our Oncology Ward. Use your expertise and care to help guide our patients through their treatment journey.
This is a part time role 72 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 339 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients, administering treatments and managing symptoms with empathy and compassion
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, therapists, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
