Description

RN - 3 East – Oncology/Nephrology * 3 East – 27-bed unit; primary focus – renal and oncology * Individualized orientation program with knowledgeable preceptors focuses on clinical skill development and enhancement of professional role within the Med-Surg environment. * Full time (72 hours biweekly) * Shift: 7pm-7am (12 hour night) * Every third weekend * Eligible for shift and weekend differential The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, and coordinating patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes managing physical and psychosocial changes for patients in the Oncology and Nephrology units.
