We are looking for a forward thinking Registered Nurse who will work as a member of the MDT to provide care to a range of patients within the post holder’s scope of practice, under the supervision of a designated shift lead.
The role encompasses the skills of assessment, clinical prioritisation and care navigation; and general nursing duties within an agreed scope of practice. The Nurse will be responsible for ensuring that patients who attend the centre seek care from the most relevant health care professional based on their presentation needs. This may include signposting patients to care givers outside of the service such as Pharmacists, community support or the patients registered General Practitioner. The Nurse is also responsible for the providing care to patients that are being managed in the urgent care observation bay an area where patients that require treatment or a period of observation are managed.
The post holder is required to be registered with the relevant professional body.
