Travel Registered Nurse-Operating Room/Circulator (Days/Nights) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse-Operating Room/Circulator for a 13-week travel assignment in Sitka, AK 99835. Contract Details Full time. 4–10-hour shifts, Tuesday-Friday. On call required. Start Date: 7/20/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Sitka, AK 99835 Hourly Pay: $ 52.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $ 2806.00 Flu vaccine required. Call Requirement: Utilizes after-hour call services, to staff the Operating Rooms (OR), for nights, holidays and weekends. Holiday Coverage Required: Yes EMR Used: Meditech ** Start date will be no less than 6 weeks after traveler's fingerprint cards are received in Juneau for processing. Upon acceptance, please have your traveler make an appt for fingerprints and get them in the mail within 2-3 days to avoid start date getting pushed back. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and functioning Monitor the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment Assist in positioning the patient safely before the surgery Verify patient information and surgical site before the procedure begins Document all aspects of the surgical procedure in the patient’s chart Coordinate with anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety Manage the flow of the operating room and anticipate the surgical team’s needs Handle specimens taken during surgery and ensure proper labeling and documentation Assess the patient's condition and readiness for discharge from the post-anesthesia care unit Provide emotional support to patients and their families before and after surgery Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and reorder as needed Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer Requirements Minimum Requirements: Must have Circulator position Must have 3 yrs OR circulator experience Must have BLS/BCLS certification Must be graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN or ADN) Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred High school diploma or GED is required A valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska is required Must have current ACLS and PALS certifications Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start): Drug screen and background check (facility required) Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned Benefits Why Work With Mobile Health Team Inc.: Weekly pay Dedicated recruiter support Streamlined onboarding & compliance guidance Transparent pay packages Opportunities for extensions and future assignments MED296766
