The Ophthalmic (Retina) Nurse is an essential member of our retina care team, supporting patients with serious, vision‑threatening conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular disorders. These high‑acuity patients depend on timely diagnostics, urgent interventions, and close follow‑up—and you’ll be at the center of it all. What you will do: In this role, you’ll bring clinical leadership to one of the busiest and most specialized areas of ophthalmology. You will ensure safe, efficient, and seamless care by: Upholding strict injection‑safety and infection‑prevention standards Managing complex patient triage and urgent care needs Providing clear, compassionate pre‑ and post‑procedure education Coordinating care for high‑risk retina patients who require frequent monitoring Your work directly prevents vision loss, enhances patient experience, and ensures the department maintains top-tier clinical and regulatory standards. Compensation: Salary Range: $29.78 - $48.84 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
