Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PACU and DSU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic perioperative team, delivering exceptional post-anaesthesia care to patients recovering from a diverse range of surgical procedures. In this fast-paced role, you will utilise your advanced critical thinking and rapid assessment skills to stabilise patients, manage pain, and ensure a seamless transition to post-operative recovery. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in critical care or recovery, a calm demeanour under pressure, and a passion for high-quality, patient-centered care. As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients. About You You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate: Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses) Minimum 2-3 years' recent acute post-operative care or surgical case experience Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.
