This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Responsibilities

The Palliative Care Registered Nurse will work as a member of the Specialist Community Palliative Care Team providing patient centred palliative care for people with advanced life limiting illnesses, their families and carers
Provide a combination of direct/shared/consultative care across settings, in liaison with other FWLHD palliative care health professionals, and is expected to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team including primary care, specialist services, community based services, inpatient, aged care and volunteers.
