Position Summary: As a Registered Nurse working within Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, you will take the lead in the following ways: * Be responsible and accountable for decisions and actions in the provision and management of nursing care for patients receiving prenantal and postpartum care * Ability to assess, and provide care/education for individuals and families experiencing a pregnancy with risk factors * The ability to provide trauma informed, patient informed care * Progressive, innovative and problem-solving team player that supports the Strategic Plan of Trillium Health Partners and the Women’s & Children’s Program * Expert communication and problem-solving skills are essential within an interprofessional healthcare team * Commitment to working co-operatively within the Women’s and Children’s Program in alignment with the Respectful Workplace policy. * Familiarity with CNO, hospital, and clinic policies and standards of care Qualifications: * Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)  * Minimum of five years current experience caring for perinatal patients in an inpatient and/or outpatient clinic setting; providing care to individuals experiencing a high-risk pregnancy; tertiary care center experience preferred * Pregnancy Physical Assessment, Ontario Prenatal Care Routines/Education and Obstetrical Ultrasound knowledge required * Facilitation and interpretation of antenatal diagnostic testing is essential * Perinatal Nurse Certified in Canada (PNCc) preferred * Fetal Health Surveillance Certification (UBC program) required * Current CPR Certificate * Ability to think critically and effectively to prioritize needs in emergency situations * Highly effective decision making, problem solving and organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; with the ability to work independently when required * Reliable and flexible individual to work as part of a diverse work team * Positive attendance and work record essential * Willingness to consider and accommodate the needs of the patient and their support persons; taking into consideration the diversity of individuals cultures, religions, socio-economic status and background To pursue this career opportunity, please visit our website: www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca [http://www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca/] Candidates are selected on the basis of their skill, ability, experience and qualifications.
