Position Overview
Westcare Medical Centre Thornlie is offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. This role, as a Practice Nurse, is available on a flexible part-time basis to help ensure a healthy work/life balance.
Essential Criteria
· Full AHPRA registration with no restrictions on working in Australia
· Experience in general practice nursing, particularly with care planning and chronic disease management, is highly desirable
· Familiarity with Best Practice Software will be considered an advantage
Key Responsibilities
· Patient triage
· Administration of vaccinations and iron infusions
· Assisting with minor procedures
· Providing patient education and support
· Maintaining the treatment room
· Coordinating Chronic Disease Management Plans and conducting Health Assessments
· Managing stock control and ordering supplies
· Cold Chain Management
· Management of recalls and reminders
· Ad-Hoc duties as required
