Description National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Per-Diem RN to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our McLean location. Schedule: as needed on Thursdays only Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm IV start experience required Pre-op/PACU experience in a fast-paced setting highly preferred IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL: Assess patient’s postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures. Interpret information accurately from various monitors. Discontinue IVs, discharge instructions, documentation Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes utilizing relevant scoring systems/discharge criteria (e.g. Aldrete Score, Post Anesthesia Discharge Scoring System) as defined by organizational policy.
