The Regional Health Center is seeking a full-time floating Registered Nurse to provide the essential functions below:   The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below; and specific functions may change from time to time.   1. Responsible for the supervision of care and coordination of services      for patients in the Wound Care Center.      1. Responsible to provide skilled nursing to assess medical condition,      perform treatments, teaching and documentation of findings.   1. Keep physician informed of patient’s condition, prepare medical      updates and coordinate follow-up care.   1. Prepare nursing care plans individualized for each patient.   1. Assists in preparation of plan of treatments for physicians.      1. In coordination with Clinical Manager, prepare daily schedule of      nursing visits.    1. Coordinate care between clinic and Nursing Facility/MD Office/Home      Health agencies involved with patient's care.   1. Attends training and education inservices.   1. Participates in QI program.      1. Follows safety and infection control policies and all other nursing      and departmental policies.   1. Demonstrate excellence in customer service skills.   1. Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.   1. Performs other duties as assigned.   1. Complies with Corporate Policies, Departmental Policies and      Procedures and Personnel Employee Handbook.          Qualifications The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.     EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:   Registered Nurse.  Must maintain current licensure in the states of West Virginia and prefer certification in Wound Care.     WORK EXPERIENCE:   Three years of nursing experience in clinical setting with Wound Care experience.
