Description Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities: Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency room Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families Maintain accurate and complete patient records Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols Skills: - Current RN license in the state of practice - BLS and ACLS certification - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of electronic health records systems - Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care Requirements Qualifications, Education Experience, Skills\ EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited school of nursing At least 3-5 years of Emergency Room, strongly preferred. LANGUAGE/MATH/REASONING ABILITY Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation. COMPUTER SKILLS Basic computer skills CERTIFICATE/LICENSES Current RN license within the state of practice Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
