Are you a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN) with a passion for delivering exceptional elderly care? Our prestigious care home in Wilmslow is seeking a compassionate and skilled RGN to join our dedicated clinical team on a full-time night shift basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior Staff Nurse to take a leading role in providing high-quality healthcare within our nursing home, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents. We are looking for a confident professional who can work autonomously and provide mentorship to others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding, person-centred nursing care to our elderly residents, acting as a senior Staff Nurse.
• Conduct thorough medication rounds, ensuring the safe administration and management of medicines.
• Work without supervision during night shifts, using your initiative and clinical expertise to manage resident needs and lead the care team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants and other members of the care team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with NMC standards.
• Work in partnership with the Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure the highest standards of care are met.

• Uphold all policies and procedures, including infection control and health and safety protocols.

  Essential Requirements:

• Valid NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).

• A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience as a Staff Nurse or RGN within a care home or nursing home setting.
• Extensive and proven experience in elderly care.
• Confident and competent in leading medication rounds and complex clinical care.
• Ability to work without supervision and demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills.

• A genuine passion for working in a care home environment and providing dignified elderly care.

  Desirable Skills:

• Experience in mentoring or supervising other staff members.

• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to act as a role model.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
