Pyramid Healthcare’s ACTT (Assertive Community Treatment Team) in Mars Hill, NC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. Our ACTT program functions as a “hospital without walls,” providing high-intensity behavioral health services in the community to support individuals living with severe mental illness. 💙 Why Join Pyramid Healthcare – Asheville ACTT Company car and phone provided (plus mileage reimbursement) Comprehensive on-the-job training Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment Crisis phone rotation: 1 weekday + rotating weekends ⚕️ What You’ll Do Provide nursing care in community settings to clients with severe mental illness Monitor medication compliance and administer IM injections Coordinate pharmaceutical inventories, medication refills, and doctor schedules Record vitals and complete AIMS assessments at admission and every 6 months Provide medication education to staff and clients Assist clients in accessing community resources (including transportation support) Participate in emergency on-call rotation (may include crisis response, assessments, hospital diversion, and commitment procedures) Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to support individualized treatment goals 📋 Qualifications Active RN license in North Carolina Willingness to travel throughout Buncombe County and surrounding areas Passion for community mental health and recovery-oriented care Join us in bringing life-changing behavioral health care to those who need it most.
