THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Special Care Nursery team at Kareena Private Hospital. In this role you will be delivering a higher standard of support and care for mothers, newborns, and their families. You will be responsible for will assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years experience working within Special Care Nursery
• Recent experience and confidence working within Special Care Nursery.
• Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to Midwifery practice in the workplace
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• A keen interest in neonatal care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
• Must have at least 2 years Special Care Nursery experience.
