Description Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a key role in supporting client health and recovery by providing healthcare services, conducting general health assessments, and collaborating with the treatment team to address physical health–related needs in a residential treatment setting. Position Details Employment Status: Full-Time, Salaried Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a Saturday rotation Salary: $64,480.00 - $86,655.73 Perks & Benefits 401(k) with company match – Eligibility begins after completing 12 months of employment and at least 1,000 hours of service during that period. Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (PTO) Free meals while on shift Scholarship opportunities Primary Responsibilities Administer scheduled and PRN medication under the direction of Medical Director and Registered nursing staff. Complete necessary assessments including intake physical assessments, and general health assessments. Provide direction to Medication Technicians and respond to questions related to medication administration. Meet with client treatment teams for treatment planning and consultation. Document client participation, progress and updates in client records. Facilitate group health education and state required education. Continue professional development to maintain licensing requirements. General Responsibilities Work as a member of the broader team of the Center to ensure a high level of service to our clients, including assisting with general housekeeping, kitchen duties and light maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Degree of Authority to Execute Responsibilities The Registered Nurse has the authority to make decisions regarding health care of clients and providing input to the treatment team. The Registered Nurse will defer to the Nurse Manager or Medical Director on matters that reach beyond the responsibilities. The Registered Nurse can also respond to questions related to changing medication orders (i.e. flexibility related to the timing of medications and/or consumption of medications at the same time). Requirements Qualifications Degree from an accredited school of nursing. Registered Nurse License from the State of Minnesota in good standing. Current American Heart Association BLS Card, training offered onsite. Must be at least 18 years of age, per licensure requirement pertaining to staff who supervise clients at a residential facility. Physical Requirements Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc. Frequently lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height throughout the day. Frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally. Frequently read and update medical records, prescriptions and medication bottles, medical orders, etc. Frequently move around the office to access file cabinets, office machinery and supplies, etc.
