ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inter-disciplinary team of skilled professionals. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing excellent quality patient care and leadership to members of the health care team within the nursing units of the Health Centre.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing;
  • A.C.L.S. Certification, P.A.L.S. Certification, NRP Certification;
  • Previous experience in obstetrical nursing;
  • Preference will be given to candidates with current certification in Added Nursing Skills pertinent to Obstetrical nursing;
  • Previous experience in Nursing Skills pertinent to Acute Care Nursing (IV starts, Wound care, Ostomy care);
  • If no previous experience with obstetrical nursing, commitment to obstetrical training within 3-4 months- breastfeeding course, NRP within 2 months. Enrollment in community college perinatal or obstetrical program within 4 months.
