ROLE TITLE: REGISTERED NURSE (YEAR 1 - 8)

Role type: Max term contract part time (24 hours per week until July 2026)
Department and location: Rehabilitation Unit, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst
Salary: $72,152.53 - $101,299.48 + super.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • 22 bed unit that provides rehabilitation to patients with neurological conditions, rheumatology, cancer, transplant, LVADs, aged care, orthopaedic, and HIV patients.
  • Providing a comprehensive program to assist people to achieve their maximum potential when recovering from an injury, illness or surgery.
  • The team works together with the client to achieve goals (such as safe walking, independence in showering and dressing, adjusting to changes in your life).
  • The rehabilitation service consists of clinical psychology, diversional therapy, nursing services, nutritional services, medical services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, social work, pharmacy and pastoral care.

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.
