The Role

As a Registered Nurse (High Intensity), you will:

• Provide skilled, high-intensity care for individuals with complex health needs.
• Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based clinical interventions.
• Support clients and their families with compassion and professionalism.
• Ensure care plans are followed while promoting dignity and independence.

Skills and Experience Needed

To truly shine in this role, the following skills are essential:

• Experience in high-intensity clinical care such as:
• Tracheostomy care
• PEG/enteral feeding management
• Ventilator support
• Complex wound and pressure care
• Urinary catheter and subcutaneous injection support
• Dysphagia assistance and mealtime safety
• Epilepsy and seizure management
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
• Safe medication administration and infection control expertise
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation abilities
• Empathy, reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in high-intensity or acute care
• Full, unrestricted Australian work rights
• Valid driver’s licence
• Working With Children Check and current police check

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
