The Role
As a Registered Nurse (High Intensity), you will:
- Provide skilled, high-intensity care for individuals with complex health needs.
- Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based clinical interventions.
- Support clients and their families with compassion and professionalism.
- Ensure care plans are followed while promoting dignity and independence.
Skills and Experience Needed
To truly shine in this role, the following skills are essential:
- Experience in high-intensity clinical care such as:
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG/enteral feeding management
- Ventilator support
- Complex wound and pressure care
- Urinary catheter and subcutaneous injection support
- Dysphagia assistance and mealtime safety
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Safe medication administration and infection control expertise
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation abilities
- Empathy, reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
- Flexibility to work across shifts, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in high-intensity or acute care
- Full, unrestricted Australian work rights
- Valid driver’s licence
- Working With Children Check and current police check

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
