We are looking for driven individuals to come grow with us. Position: Registered Nurse, Respiratory Services (PRN) General Description: Quipt Home Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to practice respiratory care services. Job duties include but not limited to: Sets up all highly technical respiratory equipment including but not limited to: a) CPAP/BIPAP b) Noninvasive ventilator c) Other high-tech respiratory equipment as defined by scope of service at the location (e.g. Cough assist, negative pressure ventilation, IPPB, etc.) Help patients with aerosol therapy, oxygen and other home healthcare equipment Provide care and education accordingly Provides initial and ongoing phone contacts with all respiratory patients Provide in-home visits to patients Conducts patient assessment Maintains documentation of all services provided and all work performed Assumes on-call responsibilities during non-business hours Requirements Job Requirements: Credentials as a Registered Nurse (RN) Must be licensed in KY and OH Valid driver’s license. Home respiratory care experience is preferred Must be able to use Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Access Excellent verbal skills Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills Ability to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will set up and manage technical respiratory equipment and provide care and education to patients. Responsibilities also include conducting patient assessments and maintaining documentation of services provided.
