JOB TITLE: REGISTERED NURSE – RISK & COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Location: San Carlos, AZ
Duration: September 29, 2025 - September 26, 2026 (52 weeks preferred)
Pay: $65 - 70/hr
Schedule: Day shift | 40 hours weekly | 5 days/week
Overview: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Risk & Compliance Manager to lead quality management, risk mitigation, and compliance programs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active RN license (required)
  • Current BLS certification (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience
  • At least 3 years of performance improvement or risk management experience
  • CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) or CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) certification preferred (must obtain within 1 year if not already held)

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Risk & Compliance program, including monitoring, reporting, and corrective planning
  • Minimize liability risks by identifying areas of concern and implementing solutions
  • Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and Failure Mode & Effects Analyses (FMEA) to improve processes
  • Develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans
  • Provide training and education to staff on risk management, compliance standards, and confidentiality
  • Develop, revise, and implement policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Promote a culture of patient safety and non-punitive error reporting
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure continuous performance improvement across departments
