Location: Market Weighton, YO43
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £35,596 per annum, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join our hospital team in Market Weighton. As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for promoting recovery, wellbeing, and independence while maintaining the highest clinical and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective nursing care in line with individual patient care plans.
  • Administer medication and treatment in accordance with NMC guidelines and hospital policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • Undertake risk assessments, care planning, and regular reviews.
  • Act as an advocate for patients, promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff and healthcare assistants.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CQC and hospital standards.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities (RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Experience in a hospital or specialist care setting is desirable.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
