Make a Difference The Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Ambulatory Resource Team, conducting duties such as: triaging calls, patient education, scheduling appointments, medication refills, referrals, care coordination, rooming patients, and other related tasks as needed. The RN will float to primary care and specialty care physician offices within three regions; the regions will include the north side of Indianapolis, east side of Indianapolis, and the south side of Indianapolis. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications -Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience. -Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). -One year or more of nursing experience required. -Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred. -Phone triage experience a plus. -Excellent communication skills. -Excellent team skills. -Compassionate and caring. -Accountable and self-directed. -EPIC experience a plus.
