Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty. Typically involves diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients, and often include face-to-face interactions with patients. May also spend some time designing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills. Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through advanced education, training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care and/or scientific/laboratory technologist jobs. ​ Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education.​ Works under moderate supervision. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor’s of Science in. Nursing Degree is preferred required within 5 years of hire date for all new hires. Experience: 3 years relevant experience. Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of. Virginia required. Valid Virginia Driver’s License (VADL) may be required PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The starting base rate for this role is $41.26 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
