RN- BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

This is a temporary long-term position with a minimum commitment of 24 months with the opportunity to extend to a permanent position.
This RN position is located in the USA. To qualify for work authorization in the USA, a current Canadian passport, USA passport or Green Card is required. We do not have the ability to sponsor.
Extended orientation provided on each unit.
- Open to experienced and New Grad RNs who have graduated with their BScN within the last 12 months
- New Grad Residency Program available for RNs who graduated with their BScN, and became a nurse for the first time within the last 12 months
Generous sign on. Relocation funds available for those that are not local.
Experienced RNs-1-2 years current RN experience required for Med Surg floor position.

EXPERIENCE

  • New grad who completed initial nursing BScN education with in the last 12 months
  • Experienced RNs considered for all acute care units - Must have current experience on similar unit.
  • IENs with minimum 1 year of current RPN, LPN, RN, within the last 24 months in Canada or the USA - Current experience must be with direct patient care in a hospital or LTC setting.

  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures relevant to nursing practice.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and needs.
