Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.   More about our team   Denver Springs has 96 beds for inpatient and outpatient services:  1-12 ratio on beds, 4 people supporting each unit.    How you’ll contribute   A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will: * Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs  * Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions  * Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient  * Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record  * Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient  * Performs timely and accurate QI assessments    What we’re looking for:  A qualified Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health demonstrates strong clinical assessment skills and specialized expertise in managing patients with psychiatric or substance‑related conditions. Requirements: * Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:  * Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver’s license preferred * Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required * Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred Additional Requirements: * Basic Life Support certification and Handle with Care Training (HWC) within 30 days * May be required to work flexible hours   Schedule: 3x12/4x10/5x8 + Days (7a-7p)/ Nights(7p-7a) + rotating weekends/every 3rd weekend/every weekend + on call, holidays, etc. (i.e. 3x12, Nights (7p-7a), rotating weekend – may require some flexibility in scheduling Why join us: We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will accurately perform patient assessments, identify patient needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions while providing care suitable for the patient's condition and age. Responsibilities also include timely documentation related to medical necessity and completion/revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for every patient.
