Staffed with compassionate healthcare professionals, including RNs, CNAs, Mental Health Assistants, Psychiatrists, and Mental Health Providers. Operating with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6-1:9, our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. How you’ll contribute  A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:   * Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs * Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions * Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient * Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record * Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient * Performs timely and accurate QI assessments   Why join us  We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will perform patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. They will also document medical necessity and manage the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
