Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Dept: Burn Unit Shift: Full Time 7am - 7:30pm / 72 Hours per Pay Facility: Miami Valley Hospital Sign on Bonus The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN also coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others. Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid Ohio RN license Experience: Previous hospital-based RN experience is preferred. Knowledge/Skills: o Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor o Basic computer knowledge o Strong organization skills o Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
